Summer is Almost Here!

I'm so excited! Summer is almost here! Tomorrow is the last day of school. Next year I'll be moving on to the Junior High and I'll finally get a locker. I finished 7th grade with a 4.0 GPA, even in Algebra 1!

Norris gave me another assigned seat on the bus yesterday (third this year!), along with four other kids including my cousin Max, for throwing pine cones! And yes, she still thinks my name is Kyle.

This summer I have 3, (maybe 4) scout camps that I will be going on, each about a week. I also have tons of swimming practices and meets, and our Mansfield Family Reunion! It's going to be a fun summer!

Norris, Part 2

Well, there's a lot of stories to tell about Norris, but I'll just start at the Assigned Seats. According to my records, fifteen people have/had assigned seats since February. That's half the bus. Why you say? Because we were all

Leaning Against The Window.

No kidding. "Michelle, you have an assigned seat today for lenaing against the window." This is not a joke. That is why I had an assigned seat, why Jalysa got one, and EVERYONE at our stop has had one for that reason! Apparently she thinks we'll bump our heads or something... I really don't know.

Now that you know the background, next time I post I'll tell you soem stories. =)

Norris, Part 1.

Well, I've got a lot to talk about, so I might as well start with one of te main "problems" in my life.

Norris.

Norris is our bus driver, though she is... is... slightly... rounder than most? She also has a phobia of windows that they may break open and kill the bus students. Well, I'll start way from the beginning.

First off, it's the beginning of the school year and we have a new bus driver. Though after two weeks, we realize we don' t even know her name. So, I come up with the name Norris. And that name stuck. And so now all the parents and everyone call her Norris, and she is our main subject to talk about at mutual.

So, Maxxie (my cousin) and I were riding the bus home, about two months after school started, being wonderful children. When I decide to tell Norris that it is my birthday today. So I go up to the front and tell her. So she asks my name. I say Tyler.

So she gets on the intercom and says, "Everyone, it's Kyle's birthday!" So everyone starts singing, wondering who the heck Kyle is. While Maxxie and I are busting our heads off laughing! Please note the KYLE, it is very important to this story.

I can tell this will take a while to tell the whole thing, so, to be continued...

Back Again

Hey everyone! I'm back again! I'm going to start posting again, so if I haven't posted in more than a week, feel free ot email, call, bug or whatever. (But please no physical abuse.) I'll post my first real one again tommorow! =)

Alumni Swim Meet

Well, another week, another post! So, last Saturday I had an Alumni Swim meet, (where all ages compete, no age groups,) and I was pretty much one of the youngest. It was a short meet, so I swam two solo events.

The first one I did was a 50 Yard Fly, (basically down and back the length of the pool). It was basically me, 5 High Schoolers, and 2 Older Guys. I was pretty impressed because I was about one-fifth of a second away from beating a sophomore high schooler and I did beat one of the older guys, (who said just before it started he'd be embarrassed if I beat him! =P).

The second one was a 100 Breaststroke, (down and back twice). The better thing was that the other two I swam against were in the same grade as I was. To the point, I killed them. I think I beat them by at least 5 seconds... maybe? Something like that.

Well, yep! It was pretty fun!

Wii Fit!

Though I do know that my last post, (and part of the one before that,) was about our knew Wii, I couldn't find a bigger subject to talk about than our new... Wii Fit!

Our family had been trying to get one, and finally my mom found one! At Wally World! =D

It's really fun! My favorite things to play are boxing, (but this boxing it is the opposite of the lame version on Wii Sports,) the "Step", Ski Jump, and the Challenges on Strength Training. The Wii Fit is really fun!

So, lately I've been spending my days playing and playing around, and having a lot of fun on our Wii. Especially playing Wii Sports, Big Brain Academy (very fun!), Think Fast, and Outdoor Challenge (also fun!) on the Wii.
